Actually it is now two interviews. Another radio station just phoned, so I have a 12.30 slot as well

Ooh - good luck! Probably won't be able to hear it, but might try listening to it very quietly in my office...shhhh... Any chance of someone setting up a link so we can listen to it later at our leisure? |

Yep, tried to anticipate what might be asked, and be prepared, but did get thrown once or twice as one of the presenter tried to describe freecycle as a swap shop, and also seemed to think we were looking for volenteers  But to my relief I don't think I siezed up 
I did do an A4 crib sheet of notable things offered, number of members etc, which I think helped. Of course I did the same for downsizer, but the fact is they want a 3 minute slot on a very targeted subject. So there is no way you are going to easily get very far off topic. |

I was less nervous than I thought I would be My biggest worry was whether i'd have a caughing fit
I think I sort of instantly realised i'd just have to go with the flow and just hope for an opportunity. I think if I had worried too much about a downsizer plug I would have garbled the rest of the interview. It was certainly a learning experience. I have been interviewed before, but never live. |
