Identification help pleaseFound these in the wood - it's a mixed wood, mostly oak, ash and beech. These were popping out of the leafmould on the wood floor.
They smell mushroomy, don't change colour when bruised. Something small and mammal seems to have nibbled at them a bit

they are yellow stainers ,probably aga. xanthodermus,if you eat them you will get horrible stomach cramps;if you cut the bottom of the stem it goes yellow and smells of ink.Not regarded as edible.
