IdentificationOn the way to take pictures of the 'rare' mushroom (see other post) I found these guys and I couldn't identify them... Any clues? 
the first one was on the edge of the woods and from far looked like a young cep but with gills and softer stem.

the second one was under beeches, very sturdy and dry (even in this wet day). Loads of them around.

I can't really see the underside of the first, but IMHO the second is almost definitely a rather weather beaten russula.

Sorry for the bad picture, you can just about make up the underside of the first unknown on the first picture, there is a broken bit of the top between the 2 mushrooms (not very neat... )

Problem is that I can't really see what the gills look like ...
