IE annoyanceSomething has happened recently on my machine which results in Internet Explorer opening instead of Firefox whenever I click on an internet link. Quite frustrating I tell you.Anybody know how to fix it? |

Are you running microsoft windows (TM) ?
If so it sounds like your file associations have been messed with. Open windows explorer - go to tools-Folder options-filetypes (tab). Find the file extension for HTML document (htm, html) you will need to scroll down ... Click the HTML filetype line so that it is highlighted, click edit on the right hand side, in the bottom window click (to highlight) open. Click edit below this box, click browse then find you "firefox.exe" file and set this instead of iexplore.exe Hope this helps. Let me know if not. I had already tried that Simon with no luck. Even if you change the Internet Shortcut function through Advanced Properties to Firefox.exe it still didn't work.
I have solved it however thanks to this fix |

No worries. I'm glad you got it sorted. Heaven forbid, people having to use IE
