If the universe is expanding...why is there never enough space to keep your stuff?
Radio 4 Saturday 10:30 Lost in Space
Felicity Finch enters the bright, clean and remarkably peaceful world of self-storage, with its windowless metal rooms, numbered padlocked doors and aisles stretching to fill the space the size of a football pitch.
They are the 21st-century's sterilised, standardised, corporatised attics, potting sheds and garages - and just possibly the solution to a problem that has stumped physicists. If the universe is expanding, why is there never enough space to keep your stuff?

It is either
(a) stuff is still responding to post big bang inflation which means it is growing faster than the space around it or
(b) your stuff is really the misterious dark matter that physicists have been seeking.
(c) quantum superposition means that you have very little stuff but it appears in many places at the same time
