in need of horse box

we are a trust without equine transport

we would like to buy a 3 horse box so that we can use it for the obvious prupose but also to take to shows etc and can have our souvenirs for sale out of the trailer as well as carry zorro who is our mascot ........

anybody know where from mid wales south we can go to look at and possibly purchase one?

we have a pajero 4x4 to use in part exchange if that will help

There are always some for sale on the board at the feed merchants - have you thought of putting in an advert up yourself? Have you get anyone attached to the Trust who can check any of them over for you?

I will check out the ads for a three horse one and ask my local garage - he is good at finding bargains for us. Will let you know if we hear of anything.

haven't thought of the feed merchants actually so will check out CPF next time we wander that way

went to a place in aber cych (sp?) on friday........we had been told that that was THE place to go to but they hadn't a single one

sometimes i prefer word of mouth to anything else

mind you it does help if the animal you are trying to transport will stay in the trailer.....last time we had a 14 hand cob who reared three times in the trailer and then before we could get him out, reared over again, went over backwards, slid under the breech bar and down the ramp....nothing we could do but watch him and hope he didn't hurt himself or anybody else...b---dy horses.......

yup

no more borrowing a trailer and making a small job take all day

gonna have it liveried up

one of the volunteers is an artist and she will do it for us

it was awfully embarrassing being a horse charity without any trasnport
