Installing adobe flash player - firefox browserI'm getting my new laptop sorted out, and in order to use youtube I need to have adobe flash player. I've installed adobe reader but I also need to download adobe flash player apparently. Because I have a firefox browser I need to add the website to the allowed list.. but I cant work out how to do it
Can someone point me in the right direction?

It should just come up as a banner at the top of the screen and ask you if you want to allow the site to download - I did it this morning because I've just got my laptop fixed and needed to update alot of stuff as its been out of action for about 6 months due to a dodgy power connector

I thought the "allowed list" only applied to Internet Explorer? Are you definitely browsing to the Adobe Flash download site in Firefox?

No Firefox has it as well - It won't install as a plugin you have to do it manually but it should just tell you that its not automatically allowed and allow you to add it - that's what it did for me

Thanks Jo... I did spot that banner after you mentioned it. I clicked and downloaded it, etc. Thought I would have it working now but I still cant play music on youtube so obviously I need to try again/do something else that I may have missed...

I have sometimes found on Firefox that Youtube works but is silent, but same video is OK in IE or Chrome. It works eventually, maybe re-start etc.
