Insurance for a Discovery.

Has anyone used the NFU insurance for their vehicle?
We have bought a 2002 Discovery today, low milage and in good nick.Usually we go to our local brokers and debate a good deal.
Anyone got any good deals?

I've got insurance for a 405-they reduced it pdq when I told them of the NFUMutual quote.
No agencies, no extra for direct debit, I think 1.4% added for monthly payments

I use two comparison sites to get a quote and then see if a cashback site has the best value insurer (as recommended by MSE). Takes a couple of hours but the best quote is usually at least £30 less than any renewal and the cashback is usually at least another £20.

Not sure if NFU come up on the compare sites, so you may need to check their quote separately

NFU will not come up on any of the compare sites

Try These People and see if they can beat your NFU quote.

They saved me £150, and similar amounts for other folk I've recommended them to.

I am not affiliated with this company in any way other than buying one of their insurance products

I found the NFU premium too high when I upgraded to a DiscoV. Good though if you like to deal with a face.
