Insurance for land, outbuildings and static caravanI am having trouble finding a company that will insure the above - does anyone know of one?
We would also like a company that would insure a log cabin/portable timber framed building that would be put on the site to replace the static caravan at some point?

We have all ours done with the NFU, land, static and outbuildings

We're also with NFU mutual, and they are darned good. They do a rural business policy which covers your stock, holdings and suchlike, as well as many other insurance permutations.
Check out their vehicle insurance as well - they quoted us £40 less than the AA for the Land Rover.

NFU can't quote for us!
Alison how did you get yours through NFU? Was it through the farmer who you bought the land off? Seems it is pretty impossible (talking to another broker) to get insurance for the static caravan which seems to be the sticking point.
