insurance for training coursesI have been offered the opportunity to run some short courses with a local private school (part of their BTEC curriculum in animal management). They do not need the tutor to be a qualified teacher (although the OH used to be a teacher).
I'm keen so obviously we both need CRB checks, presumably both we and the school undertake risk assessments and then insurance is likely to be public liability. We have cover with NFU Mutual and I need to see if they will include the provision of livestock training, otherwise can anyone recommend a suitable PL insurance provider? anything else we need to think about? Will have the necessary discussion with the school in due course but want to find out as much as possible first!
