Internet Explorer 7After having several pop-up type reminders I eventually gave in and installed IE 7 (well thats what I think it was..... )
Anyways I now have a very different looking top to my internet pages and my son is not happy as he is a big fan of CorsaSport and has paid a fairly hefty membership subscription and he can no longer log in for some reason.
He has requested a new password but is still unable to log in - when he enters his details the log in page disappears (cant remember exactly what happens and he isnt here to check with him )
He has mentioned cookies.... but so far we have had no luck trying to sort this one out. All our other forums work fine - anyone got any ideas what has happened / suggestions for putting it right?
Thanks!!

I haven't great experience with ie7 myself but I know a fair number of our clients have installed it and then rolled back to ie6 or are now trialling firefox.

I did try to remove it by doing a System Restore but it didnt work. Is there any simple way of removing it??

I've had no problems with it at all. Have you tried adjusting your security level. Some sites I log onto require a low security so I change it to low to log in then back up again when I'm in.

Yeh use the add / remove progs in control panel like you should remove nearly all progs.
Installed it on OH,s pc & removed it about 2 days later as its pants.

Well I've just deleted IE 7 (nice to have the old style back ) and I also reduced the security level from medium to medium-low.
But it still doesnt work... I have tried to access Corsasport... what happens, I get onto the home page and get asked for password and username... (son has requested a new p/word and username) however when I input them the page just comes back up again requesting p/w and u/n... it just wont log me in!!
Any ideas as son is not a happy bunny without his fave forum.. which I sympathise with as I know I'd feel the same if I couldnt get into DS!!

Had a similar prob. had to re register some dll,s. do a search on the MS help database for the error code if you got one.
The fix for mine was typing this ( Regsvr32 %windir%\system32\msxml3.dll ) into the run box.

That reminds me, sparky - I did get a pop up thing mentioning phishing... didnt know what it was so didnt do anything...
How do I find it to turn it off? :blush
Justme, there wasnt any error code, the log in page just comes up again saying I need to enter my user name and password when I have already done so - it doesnt seem to be registering the fact that I have entered the information - and the info I'm entering is correct - I've checked and double checked!!

I wonder if it doesn't like the site certificate? Haven't a clue what to do about it though. I'd install Firefox if I were you.

Odd. I installed it a few days after 2.0 came out and it's been fine.
