Irfanview and websites

I'm building a website at the moment and for some reason whenever I try to insert an image which I've edited in irfanview (its a gif) it says its not a valid image url value when I save that page. I've tried moving the image somewhere else. The rest of the website is done I just need to insert this one picture and then I'm done. What am I doing wrong?

I don't know this package, but can you see the html source code? that way you might be able to see what it is doing.

I'm using AceHTML 6 Pro. In the source code and can see the code for the image but it won't actually display and keeps saying like i said that the image isn't a valid url value. Doesn't that mean that it doesn't like where the image is saved? I think it can't find the image once I've imserted the code.

Can you enter the image address into a web browser and see if it is there really?

No it wasn't there when I entered it into the web browser. I think though I didn't have it properly saved as an image file so I've just moved its locationagain.

A couple of suggestions:

1/ It could be as simple as the filename not ending in dot gif

2/ Why a GIF? If its a simple animation, or a cartoon using relatively few colours, then a GIF would be appropriate. But if its a photo or similar image then a JPG would probably give better quality and a smaller size (therefore quicker loading)

You must set the ad_network_ads_377.txt file to be writable (check file name as well).
