Can't say it's any faster, but it's certainly trotting (can hamsters trot?) along nicely at the moment.

they seem frisky and having just done a fresh check after last night's avast and adaware cleans i did new ones (post a d s visit ) and the little furries seem free of anything nasty (unlike trying to find a ferry to belgium )

My machine isn't fast. And I'm on a pretty basic ADSL connection.
Which means that I see less difference between superfast sites and those that are 'merely' fairly quick.
I'd say the site does seem a little faster overall, but, to be blunt, its generally nicely swift, except (the blunt bit) when on rare occasions there has been a 20 second latency between clicking and things starting to happen.
I haven't had that at all today.
Its plenty fast enough, IMHO. Feed the family, not the hamsters.

Thing is that a 4 and a half year old Mac is still plenty fast enough... My attention span can (usually) withstand an extra second or so of page rendering time (though its rarely that much).
The occasional "whats happening" waits would seem to be site specific, rather than related to anything to do with my machine, internet connection or ISP's DNS service.

It's flying, but then again I'm on wireless broadband at home for the first time.
Am on the loo right now.

This must be the 21st century version of taking the newspaper in there?

having been monitoring all day, i don't think I had f'all effect on speed It has been flying the last few days for me, but i think the differences we see are a lot more down to the server being a long way away than anything else.
