Jam jars - could anyone recommend a supplier?

I'd like to buy a large-ish quantity of matching short/squat glass jam jars. I've found one or two seemingly good suppliers on-line, but before I take the plunge I wondered whether anyone else had any particular suppliers they could recommend?

This is the sort of thing I'm after: http://www.colouredbottles.co.uk/store/home.php?cat=331

I wouldn't imagine that they are any cheaper but I got two boxes last year from lakeland - I had a voucher for money off so mine were very cheap but I was really impressed that they were ordered one day and delivered two days later

What you making then? Very Happy

Oh thanks girls - with both of you recommending the same supplier...they must be good!

Just had a quick peek at the website - that's really helpful and just the sort of thing I'm after. Very Happy

I used to use the Bristol Bottle Company, but I think they've changed ownership so I dunno if they are still as good. They were cheap as anything and very good on delivery though

Thanks Sally - they are still running, but their website appears to be down at the moment. I'll give them another try later.

Where I go for that sort of thing . A pleasure to go round their store, ye oldie ironmongers, seem to specialise in Kilner Jars and such at an affordable price. They have this website so probably supply ex internet.
They like a joke, you know, Four Candles from the Two Ronnies.

Ascott smallholding suppplies are very good (hold you credit card tight though!) - much cheaper than lakeland. Lots of people report good customer service from lakeland, but personally I have found it to be rubbish on more than one occasion. I guess they don't like me much!

have a look at www.ascott.biz.

I see that you visited the coloured bottles site. If you do not see what you want we can always quote you especially if you want large quantities as we bring in special runs from across Europe.
