Carol Klein has been great. I've really enjoyed her 'why spend money when you can propagate it yourself' approach. I felt it was a returning to the glory days with Geoff.

Oooh dear - certainly not a favoured choice in this house - I have never been that keen on TB - I got he impression at the beginning of this series that CK wanted to have more filming done at her home in Devon so perhaps she doesn't want it - would have lumped for Joe Swift over TB though Confused

I have tried to give him a chance, but no, he still grates. I'm finding him very patronizing to the other presenters. Perhaps it's just me. But for the first time in as long as I can remember, I don't want to watch Gardener's World anymore.

(Also I think his technique is sloppy. Did you see the mess he made edging round that tree a couple of weeks back? Shocked

I can't believe he was ever a head gardener. )

I'm not interested in GW anymore, either, I don't know why, have only watched one or two since Monty was taken ill.

Same here. I've even recorded a couple of programmes but had no desire to watch them so deleted them. I had hoped Monty would return but when I read on their forum that he decided not to, I think that was the end of GW for me. Very sad. GW just hasn't been the same since Geoff Hamilton died.

Carol's great, I've always liked her, ever since she was first featured on GW for her nursery, years ago. Joe's OK, in small doses. Toby... no...have to agree with everything said about him by others - he is too smug, patronising and I can't stand watching or hearing him.

I've always liked watching Geoffrey Smith in days past, and Roy Lancaster. Geoffrey was fun, down-to-earth and practical. Wonder what he's doing these days... and Roy...
