Jointing our lamb.Its turning into a meat day.Pigs gone of am, lamb turned up pm.
All joints in the freezer.But what to do with the suet?
Can I chop it ,freeze it and use for dumplings as you do with beef?

I usually mince it, freeze it on a tray and then put it in a bag when it is all frozen, so that it flows easily in just the quantity you need. It helps if itis chilled before you mince it though.

All the odd bones are roasting in the oven for dog treats.

i freeze it in lumps, and grate it from frozen for use. Mine goes into homemade haggis, usually. or dumplings...

I,ve just been munching on the bones we did for the dogs, yummy flavour Dogs sat by my feet looking rather envious.
