apparently not  it's been on the market for ages, and still not sold. not expecting it to for at least another year or 18 months, to be honest... with the market the way it is

we're simply moving to clear the mortgage. there were other reasons when we first put it on the market, but we're now staying in the kent area, so they don't apply. we're looking for something around 100k cheaper to do up, although not much point looking at the mo

thanks  it's comforting to know that potential buyers aren't looking at it and saying 'eughr' or anything lol.
we're not desperate to sell quickly as we love it here... it's simply for no mortgage we're moving now, so when it sells, it sells... but mnothly-payment mortgage-wise.. the sooner the better 
if you could spread the word to anyone looking for somewhere with a small bit of land pleeeease, it'd be much appreciated

well, we had a ridiculous offer over the phone the other day - someone wanted to offer us £400k
we've got another viewing on friday so maybe they'll want it? who knows.. what happens, happens. we've found a lovely house that we really want, which is £425k, which if we sold this at full-price we could buy. but whatever drop we take on this place, we'll have to offer the same drop on the place we want. so if we took £500k for this (it's on the market for offers over £550k), we'd have to be able to buy the other place for £375k, which would be drop of £50k. we obviously don't mind taking a drop, on the condition the other place will take the same drop! the other place is a repossession though, so you never know how they'll take any offer. they might think 'yeah let's just take the offer and run', or they might be wanting to hold out on the full amount. whatever happens, if the people who are viewing here on friday make us an offer... it's going to depend on whether the house WE want to buy will take the same drop... wish us luck please - we really want this other house!

looks like we're here for a while yet then... suits me fine, as i love living here... wouldn't be moving unless we wanted to get rid of the mortgage... plus, we're getting our piggies in a couple of weeks anyway, so that'll keep us busy for a while!
