KentuckyfriedcrueltyHard hitting, but not perhaps as hard hitting as it could be; another take on the fight against factory farming.

Bit scrawny if you ask me.
I notice that it's another PETA offshoot.

Well, I hear she is free range.
Unfortunately, producers seem to go for large breasts and small thighs these days.

No objection to people having such a campaign but what on earth does is matter if some celebrity happens to support them on not?

Celebrity opinions help sway public opinions. Even HFW called in his mockney mate Jamie Oliver.

Indeed. If you want to influence the masses you need a celeb or two but preferably one who isn't seen as being a bit off the wall/shelf or the village two wheeled variety.

If the celebrity is in some way relevant then by all means ask them to lend their name. HFW asking JO to lend a hand with the Chicken out campaign is a good example. But if they don't have any relevance then I'm more likely to ignore the whole campaign.
If their best argument for boycotting is that Pamela Anderson thinks I should then I'm not impressed. What's her qualification to say that she's gossip magazine fodder who once married a musician, Paul McCartney - plays guitar, never got a proper job. They're entitled to their opinion but they're not exactly a voice of authority on the subject are they?

To be fair, not having ever got a proper job hasn't done him any harm, I expect he has more money than all of us on here put together! I thought it was quite amusing that they rated Pamela Anderson above the Dalai Lama....
