All I know is that the one that took such offence that I tried to grind my Galangal in it was a Kenwood 
I think, for me anyway, a more industrial solution is required.

Theres also a spice mill attatchment; bottom bit very like a blender, with six glass jars that fit on to it, each with their own little lid. A handy toy that'll do the job unless you're doing masses of spice. |
