Knitting belt, who uses one

I've seen these on you tube videos and mentioned in various books and online sources.
I wondered if using one would help me knit without getting problems with my iffy shoulder ? I imagine that it could be easier to do Fair Isle
knitting with one of the needles anchored in place.

What advice can Downsizer knitters offer?

its a bit of a learning curve, I definitely need to practice more with my knitting stick to get up to speed, but in principle it does alter where you carry the weight of knitting completely.

I use a knitting stick/sheath. Smile

I find it comes into it's own when I'm knitting stood up; when I'm sat down I often just stick the needle in my belt.
