Lamp recommendationI need to invest in a decent lamp for the bunnies. We missed 5 tonight because the one we had is a pile of poo (although we still got a couple) and I really need to invest in the right kit to make the .22 worthwhile.
Although a soft top landrover was discussed as the perfect answer to all our needs!!

I use a cheapo lamp which plugs into a cigarette lighter socket, but if you don't have a 4wd vehicle there are battery versions available eg

I use the Cluson Clubman - you can get filters for them for when the bunnies get used to white light, and you can get a little widget for them to allow you to mount the lamp on your rifle, clamped on to the scope.

I use one of the many cheap yellow hand held spot lamps that can be found really cheaply. I replace the bulb, connect the the insides to the wire from a bedside lamp and use the on off switch that comes with it and then finally using black tape, I completely cover the yellow casing with it to stop light escaping through the yellow plastic.
My lamp works really well and is surely far more Downsizerish.
