Have you tried www.colouredbottles.co.uk
They dark glass bottles up to 1000ml
http://www.colouredbottles.co.uk/bottlesalpha.htm
I think they do coloured glass jars up to 3 litres.
They may be up for making to order if you speak to them.

bottlesi buy all my bottles from french flint in south london, they are really helpful and they carry a huge stock
look up their website, but check on their new address which is only a block away, their showroom is open during normal working hours so you can see all their goods and they are very reasonably priced
i wish you luck
regards mem

Did you ask them what they use to bulk store their oils before rebottling into smaller ? And who is their supplier.

No I haven't but glass bottles are quite an outdated way of shipping bulk oils. Now wholesale essential oils normally come in aluminium flasks or HDPE barrels.

How many do you need? You might get brown glass demijohns from freecycle/car boot sales/your local tip.

About two dozen. Demijohns aren't quite suitable - Ideally I actually want proper old essential oil bottles but they are next to impossible to source. Perhaps a trip to Grasse is in order....
