Last of the summertomatoes. Cleared out all the vines today (and chopped the grape down to about a foot  ).

I picked the last cucumber today -
from an unheated small plastic greenhouse -in November ( ,  )
Cucumbers are one of the things I really miss during the winter months and so look forward to as the start of summer

Cleared my toms a couple of days ago. Now I'm waiting to see if they go red or mouldy

cleared the last of mine at the weekend too - green tomato chutney here we come....

I reckon I have one last picking of tomatoes to go, and then I need to dig up the sweet potatoes.
I do find this moment ever so slightly depressing as it means there won't be any more worthwhile fresh tomatoes until next June at the earliest.
