Laying ducks - FREE to good home, ESSEX 2/3rd AugThe great Duck offURGENT NEWS 1st August 2014 3,000 laying ducks are desperately looking for new homes this weekend after the farms feed supply dried up in disputes with suppliers. Can you help by; 1) offering a home to a duck (or 3000!) - collect direct from the farm, near Ingatestone (Chelmsford, Essex) on 2nd / 3rd Aug or (by arrangement) from Hens For Homes 2) donating a bag of food (duck food / layers pellets / layers mash / mixed corn) - feed donations can be made direct to the farm (see link below) or to Hens For Homes 3) donating money towards food - direct to the farm or via Hens For Homes The ducks are Cherry Valley laying hens and are 1yr and 2mths old.
