leave-on cattle halter, falconry book and bell tenthi,
got a nearly-new blue leave-on cattle halter for sale - the crossed straps under the chin tighten and loosen much like a rope halter but you can unclip a lead rope and leave this halter on so it's ideal for haltertraining older calves or difficult animals, no need to be constantly fighting to get a halter on or running the risk of them getting tangle din a rope while you're not about. or maybe for a milk cow being led to the parlour twice a day? It's got a good few buckle holes so should fit a variety of sizes, anything from jersey upwards I'd say? Very strong and durable, the nylon webbing is reinforced with leather around the buckle holes.
£15 INCL. P&P
also, falconry for beginners by lee william harris - a very well respected person in falconry and the book is literally nearly new, I only got it to check some facts a couple of months agp - great christmas present for anyone interested in starting up!
£8 INCL P&P (cheaper than any used or new on amazon http://www.amazon.co.uk/Falconry-Beginners-Introduction-William-Harris/dp/1853108936/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1225589460&sr=8-1 )
my bell tent is nearly new, only been used twice and well looked after - no damage to my knowledge. The canvas is very durable yet only the thickness of a thick pair of jeans - it sleeps 12 (probably more) being a 5m diameter, yet all packs into a bag that'll easily go into the boot of the smallest car, or maybe even on the back of a motorcycle? you can carry it over one shoulder with the carrying strap on the bag. packing it is easy too, the bag isn't too tight for the bundle if you see what I mean so no wrestling with that for hours on end, and it can be put up by one person; two of us can do it in 15-20minutes. It stands up to bad weather incredibly well - both times I have used it storms have blown up!
I cannot stress how brilliant these tents are, i am guessing they would be brilliant for families given how big and how easy they are - i know what an arse getting our frame tent up and down was when I was a kid! I wouldnt sell at all but I really could do with the money for something else - the second i get back on track financially though I'll be getting another in a hurry - I'll never camp in anything else!
they come from www.belltent.co.uk and it was £300 new a few months ago - £230ovno + P&Pif needed
thanks for reading! pics of tent to follow
