LightingI have seen somewhere a lighting system for chicken houses. It was a complete system for a approx 30 x 10 house (200 birds). It is 1 flourescent daylight tube, timer, wiring, battery, solar panel etc. Now I had it saved as a favorite on my old laptop but the old one didn,t like tea and I can't remember the web site any ideas anyone ? I think it was around the £200 mark if that helps but wouldn't swear to it. |

Would be easy enough to put together a system yourself.
I assume you have no mains available? Any light will work, you dont need special tubes. You also dont need to have any dimming system. If you have the light come on in the morning & allow the natural light to put them to bed. You will find lots of info HERE |
