Would one spoon each solve the problem? Very Happy
Chez

In the sense that he would no longer be trying to rip the spoon from my hand, yes.
In the sense that there would still be dinner all over the floor, walls and curtains, no.

Two bowls? One for him with next to nothing in to practise spoon wielding, one for you to actually feed him from... Very Happy
Pilsbury

so who was the suspisious person in the woods?

and as for the rotary drier hole we used to have a broom handle with a foot square peice of ply nailed on the end and when the dryer came out the handle went in and was used as a bird table, never lost the hole then.

my biggest problem at the moment is how to tell the wife that the spur of the moment bid i stuck on something I dont need but like on Ebay last night at $2 over the last bid won and I just spent £110 Embarassed
Chez

The trouble is, once the bowl gets nearly empty, it gets jettisoned at speed on to the floor. He's a chap who knows his own mind Smile.
Chez

Which would be fine if I knew for certain that there WAS a hole somewhere ... but I so far I am only supposing, because there is a drying in the shed Smile. I think I might just put in a new one ...

I feel your eBay confession pain, as someone who has bought both a conservatory and a rayburn without telling her OH. Embarassed

Ahh in that case the previous people might just of had a bucket of concrete with a pipe in the middle like my uncle, that way he can put the drier in the sun or, more normally, in his conservatory Shocked
Chez

It's just started to rain, which nicely puts that problem on hold for a bit Laughing. The bucket of concrete thing sounds like quite a good idea, actually. He must have had a BIG conservatory Shocked

I'm not. And I forgot to add clean out chickens, which might have to go by the by for this week. CS just suggested they only need doing every three months! I've been doing them every week. Oh well.
Chez

I'd just do them when they need doing. Which I realise is no help Smile. I do ours more in the winter - the shaving go horrible much quicker in wet weather as they all troop in and out with wet feet.
wellington womble

Fat chance, they kick all the stuff by the door out into the run to get wet and soggy and kill all the grass. Stupid birds. Bum, I forgot to shut them up........
