M-J deserves way more praise than me. I've been showing off for years.
Now working on the craft classes for Llanfair Caereinion show in 2 weeks time....

Noooooo... I would have been thrilled to win 9 at an early show! As I say, I've been doing this for donkey's years. And never won a cup until yesterday!
I predict cups for M-J next year...

Well done, both of you. And Mochyn's old chap

But it's fun. There I was on Friday baking and thinking: all round the area there are others doing exactly the same thing...
ANd setting up is fun too: a good chance to meet up with people.

Jolly well done all of you. But do be careful of the hit squads that will be stalking you this time next year .

How brilliant , we can boast about knowing you to our friends. I gave my friend some cockerals for the pot, one escaped and roosted in a tree and stayed there until after sunday dinner, Then the tree bird made a nest and layed some eggs( not a cockeral at all!) the eggs were so beautiful he put them in the village show and won!

Well done!
Brilliant that you're keeping these things alive.
Could that be a Downsizer challenge for next year? To enter local flowers show / produce / agricultural / craft shows and help keep them going? Although it was well supported, there were a few classes at Ayr Flower Show with no entries, which was a pity (and an opportunity) .

Well done Mochyn and MJ ! Sadly our town horticultural society died after not enough people came forwad to run it.
Think my best year was first in onions from seed, second in onions from sets. Kids won the cups for junior competition, 6 year old daughter got second in the photograph section with a close up of some flowers
