Pea

Looking for a peahen

Im looking for a indian blue peahen for Basil as he is quite lonely again this year. I have tried the local RSPCA with no luck, does anyone have any ideas?

Cheers Pea

Not sure where you are Pea. but my local "supplier" has peacocks AND hens at the moment -

Apparently there's wild peacocks and hens in Monks Kirby - someone let them loose years ago. Maybe you could go kidnap one! Is that legal?

pea, up to a couple of weeks ago we could have done a deal as i had a very lonely peahen due to the death of her mate

however a visitors dog got under our back gate and spooked off our peahen and she has disappeared never to return Crying or Very sad

i was quite angry at the time....

there is a guy i spoke to at the llanybydder horse sale but he wanted £120 for a pair and i almost laughted in his face

apparently there is another guy round here who breeds them but i haven't managed to trace him yet

i will report back if i find anything out
