Looking for appropriate workshop space and people.Hi,
Some of you may of seen the 'fungi to be with' article posted up the other day. To add to that article I would like to ask if anyone knows of any workshop space in areas where walks could be taken, I am also on the look out for people who could take workshops in subjects other than fungi. Wild food etc, I like the idea of maybe something unusual other than the usual Wild flowers, birds etc etc.
If you know of anywhere or anyone please let me know.
Thanks
Andy

Is Hampstead Heath the only location that you currently lead tours in?

To get someone for wild food workshops in or around London, there MUST be someone from Kew who would be interested in doing that for a laugh.

Dunno about people but what about:
Rainham Marshes
Hackney Marshes
Wanstead Flats
Thames Chase Community Forest
as locations
I'm sure there's probably loads to forage alongside the Grand Union too.

I don't know about that, Kew people are seriously serious.

Tahir,
thanks for that, the last one sounds interesting, is there much woodland there? I have often thought of checking out the marshes, as I when I drive past parts of them on the M11 occasionally, they look like they may be good for fungi etc. Need to check them out, I have been down that way before, Hackney marshes that is, in fact I used to live in Dalston so had easy access. Never found that much fungi wise though, the odd Chicken in the woods in a park near there, but I'm sure there is more, has to be. Thanks again.

Allegedly, a lot of it is newly planted you'd need to find their website because it covers a huge area and variety of habitats.
