I know that its happened with horses that have been stolen. The machine to locate the chip is fairly easily obtained.
Irish racing greyhounds ears are tatooed and our own horses are freeze branded. There's only so much you can do. Did I say that I've started to work on Kaz to let me have another lurcher ?

Is there anything left in this country this bloody useless goverment doesnt want to control.
Some one should suggest sticking ferret finders up thier arses to keep an eye on what there up to. Just finished double tagging my sheep and have to micro tag them after January. Pain in the arse.

I think its quite sad to see small calves bedecked with tags like a Christmas trees and there's still ways and means to create ficticious identities for cattle if you really want to. |
