M&S Pig Farms

Has anyone seen a newpaper article on the M&S Mur De pig farm, someone mentioned it vagually to my mother, but i havent seen it. Apparently conditions were awful? Anyone shed any light??

I would of thought they would be good compared to some supermarkets. I am trying to find this article but no luck yet.
One thing i did hear about commercial pig farms in scotland is that they rear pigs in poland then ship them to their scotish farms, then sell as uk produce, dont know if its true though.

Quite shocked by sainsbury pork produce in the competion though.

Largest commercial pig producer in Scotland is Grampian : been to a few of their farms (run on a sort of franchise system); piglets were homebred off sows, and the system runs on this basis AFAIK.
Doesn't mean their conditions are fantastic, though.

Don't know about other pig farms.
