Yes---but I might have to wait for the price to fall---Kunekunes were very expensive at first but they're not now---perhaps o.h. and me could get each other one each for xmas Laughing
NeathChris

Are they £150 a pig?

I would say that is cheap! I have paid four times that for some pigs. Have also heard of german micro pigs, may useful for you.

But didn't yours have the potential to grow a lot bigger? I don't think you'd need much time to process one of these little chaps. "Pig in half an hour" rather than "Pig in a day" I suspect. Laughing Wink

That's the attraction to be honest---I could breed and process my own at that size perhaps.

But don't weaners get sold by the kilo? I'm preparing for pigs in January, and I'll be paying EUR 3.50/kilo for the weaners. Choice is a bit limited, but I've found a masseria that will sell me two white/cingali (boar) cross sows, somewhere between 12 and 15 kilos each.
