If you get a chance to get to Ypres there are numerous memorials to Indian men on the Menim Gate who were lost and have no known grave.

The 8.00 Last Post is something that everyone should experience at least one in their life.

There is a very cheap ferry from Dover to Dunkique (SP) and its only half hour drive from the ferry. I did it earlier in the year and it will now become an annual pilgimage.

(And of course, there is the Belgian beer!!!!)

I'd like to go by train from St Pancras, either way I think it's important that kids know this kind of stuff.
