More mystery mushroomsFound these. (Also some parasols and little puffballs)
I think the first ones might be deceivers. They were growing under a birch tree in woodland. No idea about the second - don't think they are edible. They were in the grass in a meadowy sort of area.

The first look like decievers and the second ones are an Agaric of some sort by the looks of em, possibly young (Agaricus augustas) The Prince?
Nothing nasty I reckon.

Oooh, they do look like the prince don't they? I knew they were familiar, from something I'd seen somewhere - on here then! Do they get much bigger? These were about 7cm across.

Don't seem to smell of bitter almonds as Rodgers say they should. Waiting for the spore print.

Seems to be some grey bruising towards the bottom of the stem.

Top ones The Deciever the other could be The Prince or have a look at Agaricus silvatictus or even Agaricus porphyrocephalus, small ring on that though.

I think it's Agaricus silvatictus , see if the spore print is brown pink or choc brown.

Do you mean sylvaticus? Rogers says the flesh should turn red then cut and then turn brown and is also found in coniferous woodland.
