More tales from the tip...

Quote:
There's an amazing video floating around YouTube that has brought a ray of sunshine to a very dark week for all of us. It's the trailer for an upcoming documentary called Landfill Harmonic, which focuses on one remarkable group in Paraguay: an orchestra that plays instruments created out of literal trash, made lovingly for them.

I've seen that. It is good. Why not just link to it though?

To enhance your pedantry, you haven't just linked to it.

Well I think it is bad form to not give a snippet of what you are linking to.

Oh interesting, and the link isnt blue like normal, just the discriptive box.... Mistress Rose

I didn't understand the link at first either. Thanks Pilsbury. I have seen that before, but a good idea. I have heard proper violins with a worse tone than some of them. Some of the bits; the bows and bridges for the violins for instance are bought ones, but presumably someone put some money in to form the orchestra. Hopefully it will give those young people a chance to do something else with their lives than sort rubbish. sean
