More toxins found in some spicesI noticed a little storey in the Metro about more problems with naturally occurring toxins in chilli powder & cayenne pepper. Is it the season for the Dead Donkey stories? Can't imagine anyone eating spices in the quantities that would make them dangerous with aflatoxin. 5 micro gramms per kg - a kg is one hell of a lot of spice! |
