moving broody hen to broody coupI have a very determined to be broody hen.. sitting on no eggs in the hen house.
we decided to break her and kept her in a wire run with no accomodation.. and she was a in a bad mood about it. when Chez offered some eggs, we changed our minds, and i let her out and she shot into hen house to brood again. we prepped the broody coup and moved her in.. she instantly sat down - just like the last 2 times..
only now she has decided she does not like it.. came out hassling to get out. I thought she had gone off hte boil and let her out.. and she is brooding in the hen house again... how do i convince her that broody coup is best place?

Move her to somewhere well away from the hen house and pen - out of view of them; and do it in the evening when it's dark/dimpsy - and at the same time stick three or four eggs under her to keep her interested.
