Moving tablesCan anyone help with this?
I have a Word document with tables in it that have been cut and pasted from Excel. At the moment, the tables expand when you type in them (like they do in excel) but I'd like them not to (like they don't in Word)!
Any ideas?

Click on the table itself (rather than the text) and you should get an odd symbol in the top left.
Right-click on this and select 'Table Properties'
There should be two tabs in there called "Row" and "Column"; set these to be exact sizes.

...and if that doesn't work (like it didn't for me), try selecting "Auto Fit" from the main menu, and then "Fixed Column Width"
