My bargain pigs have arrived.
Trust me to get the ugly one Its been the story of my life Twenty quid a piece can't be bad, although I know that a lot of producers have been parting with them for even less. My mate whose place they are being kept at, reckons they will be ready for the chop around march time.

Does Kaz know you've said that? Brave man...
And how can you call any of those guys ugly? Dear little souls...
How old? About 14 weeks?

I'm not sure Mochyn but they are growing like mad.
We are feeding them on a mixture of growers pellets, rolled barley, cooked potatoes and some sugar beet shreds.
They are running in the field that my friend planted with potatoes ( Welsh Smallholder Style, remember the thread ?) They dig up the raw potatoes, refuse to eat them and then my mate picks them up out of the field and boils them up on the rayburn.

Yep: mine don't like raw spuds either, but they'll kill for mash! At least they're doing the hard work for you...
