Never found any down here yet in the wild. Lots in Scotland where I lived, though, always more tasty than cultivated.

There's a few feral ones near here, and the neighbours don't appear to be picking the ones sticking out of their fence....

Any one see any blackberries yet?

Had my first ripe blackberry on Sunday.

Raspberries up here in North Wales (cultivated, not seen many wild ones) are the best ever. I've made 6 pounds of jam so far ... from 5 plants, and we've had a couple of bowls of berries and ice-cream for pud in the last couple of weeks, very nice.

Large fruits too this year.

I've picked a few from the garden - amazing!
I think I like raspberries more than strawberries as they are consistently good, there's always a dodgy strawberry, but you don't really get that with raspberries. Alway taste pretty good I think (probably because you can visually detect which ones are good, harder with strawbs).

Last year was an odd year for Blackberries, or at least I thought so. There were loads about and early too, however, I found the early ones to be dissapointingly bitter. I wasn't the only one that thought the same and this was on all bushes that I tried. In fact it wasn't until mid September that I found they tasted any good.
