New adHas anyone any comments or suggestions to offer before I send it in?

Have you tried the list of things you offer in a bullet point list? May be a bit clearer?
Also should the "S" on Simon in the e-mail address be a small one, rather than a capital one.
Love the font and the colours and the picture

I'd centre the service text. Also, do you need to say you're in Exter since you're covering the South West?

seems slightly out of balance.
The title & pic just dont quite sit right.
The black text is a mix of left justified & equal spaced but the rest of the ad is centered.
Also I know its to late now but .org is not the right sort of domain for you.
| Quote: | | In the US and the UK, the .org TLD is mostly associated with non-profit organizations (in the latter '.uk' is usually but not always added after the '.org'). In addition to its wide use in the charitable field, it is often used by the open-source movement, as opposed to the .com domains used mostly by companies. |

I would centre 'Species management southwest'

I'd bullet point the list, fully justify the text and adjust the first line f the title so it's more balanced - whether you do that by moving the picture down I dunno
Looks good though

I agree. It's the kind of totally meaningless and unimportant detail that sends me right off on one though

I agree that the justification needs jiggling, although I'm not sure how. I think it looks basically great, though. Very clear.

Are you going to take any of it?
You editted

Better. Think the bottom bit is right.
Top bit still looks not quite right. I reckon the heads and the text need to be all on the same level. Can you make the heads bigger and stick the text to the right of them? Rather than wrapping around?
Edit: or have 'species management south west' along the top, and the bullet point list to the r of the heads?

I'm operating on the ragged edge of my technical abilities here, but I think I'll come back to it in an hour and have anohter look.

What are you doing it in? Email it over to me if you like, the baby's just gone down for a nap .

I'm not a designer but I don't like the heads. It implies you only deal with three species.

Try the heads above or below the entire text rather than trying to make it fit in.
And put the middle head in front of the other two, rather than the left hand being in front.

The heads look a tad comical to me. Wouldn't it be better to have whole animals and a couple each side of the text?
|
Behemoth

I'd be tempted to do away with them as they make it look a bit unbalanced.

I'm not keen on the heads either I'm afraid and I think there needs to be a difference in font size between the service list and the text underneath.
... and for me, not enough white space. I'm a bit of a stickler for white space, even when space is restricted, i'd rather have a smaller font size and some breathing space.
It makes it difficult to scan the different elements when they're all quite close together as there's no space to breathe.

Tried to PM this but failed miserably.
Not saying it's right but maybe more along these lines.

Make the animals much bigger, fade them like a watermark and have it behind the text?

And the fox should be behind the deer.

Are you trying to find out how far a graphics person is prepared to travel to thump you?
Good idea though.

The layout of that is ok (apart from the description being left justified while everything else is central) but all the type looks too samey.

Mot definitely, or a taxi firm.

Looking again at the 'rough' I did, I'd probably re-think the font, somthing very plain for everything but the first line, Arial if you want to be dead serious (but a bit boring), Gill or Helvetica good for legibility ...
Those heads still worry me, much better if they were whole animals or even some vigorous, scribbly line drawings?

Don't forget the text is as important as the layout. How will potential clients interpret the message are you saying enough to persuade someone to pick up the phone or write an email?
