new ducklings(photos)thought you might like to see what my clever broody hen has managed';;;;
there are 2 khaki campbell and one mystery shop egg duckling(I suspect ayslebury-should turn into large white duck anyhow)
very pleased with her-lovely strong ducklings.
they will be looking for a new home once the broody has finished her job so in about 5 weeks. if anyone interested get in touch-they are in Birmingham.

Lovely birds, mother isn't half bad either. Do you usually manage to rehome the offspring easily?

re selling chicks etc-well hopefully! male chickens are very very hard (ie you usually have to cull them) but hopefully ducks will sell. the khakis are a laying breed anyhow and ducks do make delightful pets. This year selling or even giving away anything I think is going to be tricky due to so many people holding back due to bird flu. This group will be £15ish the 3 once they are off 'mum'.
I do have 4 cream legbar chicks (male) also if anyone wants  they will be for the pot if not wanted which is a shame. ducks thankfully are not so loud so can stay till homed.
