Also the vast amount of info here is very UK climate based.
Ian33568 is a good person to quiz. & a few members from the south of France will have a similar climate. My advice would be look at what your neighbours are growing & when & follow suit. Good luck.

First of all find out what sort of soil you have, texture eg sandy or clay and pH. Everything else will depend on that.

Talk to the locals, see what they are growing- good chance to start learning (more) Portugese

And one more thing that is worth doing.
If the plants are unfamiliar to you, try buying in shop/from neighbours to have a taste before you spend lots of time and effort on growing them! |
