New magazine, Living WoodSaw this posted on www.bushcraftuk.com
| Quote: | Hi all
I have just been given a copy of a new magazine called "Living Woods" which I think may be of interest to bushcrafty types. It advertises itself as being about woodland crafts, trees and wildlife, environment and bushcraft. The first issue has articles on such things as; woodland food, building wooden houses, green woodworking projects and quite a few woodland events and attractions.
It seems to be aimed at people with an interest in woodland, crafts and outdoor living rather than forestry professionals.
More info on getting hold of it here,

Usual disclaimer, I have no connection to the publishers etc.

Thanks to everyone who has requested a sample copy. We are happy to send them out. Just email me at the address below.
Living Woods is aimed at anyone with a love of wood and trees, who wants to know more about green woodworking, foraging and woodland food, environmental issues, woodfuel, courses, wood projects, wildlife and much more. I guess it's an holistic magazine in that sense.
Do send me any comments or suggestions for future issues. If you have something you'd like to write about, just drop me an email. We will certainly plug downsizer.net in the next issue.
Thanks
Nick

Many thanks for posting Grimnir, I'll get hold of a copy as it looks ideal for me.
Welcome to the site Nick, are you still editing the quarterly Smallwoods magazine? Good luck with the new magazine and I'll try and send you some comments when I've read the first copy.

Got mine today - it's absolutely chokka with good stuff. I did wonder if they'd manage to keep up that sort of quality tbh. Ace stuff

Mine arrived today too. The first thing I noticed was a tiny bit about one of our favourite local spots, Buck's Mills. I agree with Stacey, it's a very good magazine.

ours arrived yesterday and we're impressed.
Our eco group in the village are planting a community woodland in the autumn and we were wondering whether they'd be interested in coming along to see it and take some photos of our planting day.
