New StartSay this http://www.unapoolhouse.co.uk/ place for sale. What do you guys think? Would it be fair to make my kids travel 30 miles to secondary school in a few years time? Looks lovely, but do you think it is too extreme?

Would there be a bus service for the kids?
Does look lovely but isn't the weather up in that neck of the woods a bit 'iffy'
I did have a holiday near Ullapool years ago. Fantastic place.

I've emaled the owner to ask about the schools and waiting for reply. Even on a bus 60mile round trip seems unfair to ask. I could go sailing every day though

It'll be character building for your kids Anyway, your terrier will love it, which is the real issue, isn't it?
Go for it

If they are holiday cottages, then the planning consent would have probably excluded them being used as permenant homes.

How long will the journey take, rather than how far it it? I would think that the benefits of living somewhere like that would make up for the travel ... but on the other hand, I'm not fourteen any longer ... .

There is one real owner's home and three that I would continue the bussiness.
