Nice wooden wine boxes

Just topped up for the festivities(3-4 days up in Bonnie Scotland)and the nice fella in Majestic had a load of wooden wine boxes next to the counter,a cue for me to go into magpie mode !

Upshot is for a wee(it is afterall Scotland) small donation to a charity,M.N.D. as it happens,I can help myself.

Get down there as it is a bargain, even if you don`t go there just wing it and say the last time you were in they were all out and the nice man/lady/other(hey I`m diverse !)said to call back Very Happy

Good as bacon salting boxes too, according to His Hughness.

I've tried to get some from the local offy on the rare occasions I've been in there, but no luck.

Mind you, it does seem to employ students in the main, and I think they use them as furniture / filing boxes.

I just aquired 3 old mustard horse nail boxes not as big as a wine box but still great for storing or as planters.

I think I've posted about them before, I've built up a reasonable collection also from Majestic. I have several 12 bottle wooden boxes and the smaller 6 bottle boxes - ideal for storing stuff in as they can be stacked. I've actually got a fair bit of home made wine maturing in some.

It's also worth keeping an eye out for the deluxe boxes. The other day I picked up a 6 bottle box with a sliding wooden lid.
