You've missed one. 
The logo looks a little blurred here, especially on the Firefox tabs.

Getting a complex image reduced to 16x16 is going to lead to a little blurring, but I think it is remarkably good considering, and it does make so much more sense to be using the main logo.
I am less happy with the post icons, I think they need a lot more tweaking.

I think the white background is a bit too bright. What about making the white background transparent, so it blends in with the site?
The blue and yellow ones are fine.

I'm not so sure about the yellow to be honest. Probably my fault for not keeping up with the posts but there seems too much of too bright. How about all transparent but with a border color to signify enread etc. ?

OK I see the changes now even though I couldn't just an hour ago. I think the icons are harder to see now, especially on a TFT screen. They look more fuzzy, so perhaps the colours are not suited to each other.

Don't know if this is just me but the popular ones stay yellow whether I've read them or not. So if I do a refresh I can't easily tell if a popular thread has been added to since the last time I looked or not

Me too. The fave-icon is the biz. Still detest the yellow box. Go for a transparent gif and an extra ditty (i.e. glass of wine / silly hat) for new posts in my opinion. What the heck do I know?

I think the icons have improved now with the transparent background.

Nah.
The real trick is to roll it out to users one by one, so that only a few at a time are being changed.
I think these graphics, I'd guess by using a new document with the same name as the old, are being happily kept in the browser cache of regular site users.
So people only see the change after they've been away for a while...
I have Safari with the old icons and Firefox (which has had a few days rest) showing the new ones...

Yes you can, or you can set your profile to "hidden" if you so desire. As a guest your posting will not show its from you though.
