Non-timber forest productsIf anyone has some woodland or is thinking about buying or planting some then this site might be quite useful: http://www.forestharvest.org.uk/home.htm It has plenty of info on non-timber forest products (NTFPs) i.e. products that can be found or cultivated in woodland. For example wild and managed game, edible and medicinal plants and mushrooms, foliage, seeds, bark, resins, dyes and craft materials. It's a Scottish site but much of the info is applicable to other areas.

It's quite a good site, top of the list here: http://www.forestharvest.org.uk/speciesdir.php
Worth pointing out it's only grey squirrels as I hope there are still plenty of reds up there.
