Sheep, cauliflowers, why???

Hiya, hope someone out there can answer an ignorant question!!

One of the nearby farmers has had his sheep on what appear to be fields of cauliflowers for some weeks now! The first field they were in got chewed down to stumps, then the sheep got moved across the road a couple of weeks ago to feast on some new leafy brassica type foliage. We drove past today and it looks oddly like cauli heads that are remaining. They're by the A14 so it's hard to slow down and take a really good look, but we are baffled by this. Can anyone shed any light?

stubble turnips probably, we are planting some ourselves soon, mixed with kale to run the pigs and sheep through.

Thanks Chris, on the leafy side that looks about right, but these have stalks about 6" high or more, and definite white "heads". Would you get that with stubble turnips? 'Fraid I'm a total ignoramus here but i've googled the stubble turnips and can't find any pictures that look the same Confused
